Price & confirmation

A non-refundable deposit payment of $2000 for each tour confirms your booking and acknowledges your agreement to our terms and conditions. Tour quoted prices are in NZ dollars and are based on current costs (July 2024). Prices are subject to change without notice, due to matters outside our control, such as adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges and taxes - if there is a change in tour costs, (once the deposit has been paid) you will be notified in writing. We require reservations as soon as possible. Early reservation and payment of deposit will ensure confirmation of inclusion on tour. For these prices to be maintained, we require fully booked tours.

Balance​

• The balance of the full  price is due 90 days prior to the start date of the tour. If the full price is not received by this date, we reserve the right to cancel your participation and retain the deposit. 

• Bookings can be made within 90 days provided full (100%) payment is made at time of booking.

• Boutique Tours France is not responsible for any other expenses you may have incurred before or after the BTF tours, this includes transport or accommodation due to travel disruptions, visa, or passport issues.

Cancellation policy 

• Bookings cancelled more than 90 days prior to the start of the tour, BTF will retain the non-refundable deposit of $2000. 

• Bookings cancelled 90 days or less prior to the start of the tour, there will be no refund (travel insurance is compulsary)

• In the event BTF cancels the tour should the minimum of guests not be reached; you will receive a full refund.

• BTF reserves the right to adapt, modify or change the itinerary or part of it, to enhance the quality of the tour and the customer’s experience.

• BTF reserves the right to adapt, modify or change the itinerary or part of it due to conditions beyond our control.

• BTF reserves the right to pass on extra costs incurred by delays or events beyond our control. These extra costs will be charged to the client.

• Participants agree that BTF shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, bodily injury or death or loss or damage to property occasioned through the

  acts, negligence or defaults of any company or individual engaged in providing services to BTF.

• BTF shall not be liable directly or indirectly, for any injury, death or damage for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to: acts of god, detention, war,

  quarantine, epidemic, pandemic, weather, terrorism, civil disturbance, strike, changes in government regulations, airline or other travel operations.

Travel Insurance 

Travel insurance is mandatory at the time of booking. Please provide a copy of your travel insurance documents when you confirm your reservation. If you need assistance, our travel agent can help arrange insurance. Additionally, we will email you an "Authorization Clients Form" which allows us to contact your insurer on your behalf if you're unable to do so.

Passport and Visa Requirements 

Before finalising your travel plans, ensure that your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your stay. New Zealand passport holders can enjoy up to three months visa-free in France.

Dietary Requests 

If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know. We will make sure these are communicated to the hosts and chefs.

Fitness

The best way to explore the stunning villages,picturesque harbours and sandy beaches is by walking. We do usually walk 3 to 5 kilometres a day and hop in and out of a Van several times. All our tours involve walking, please make sure this is not an issue for you. If you think this level of activity might be tough for you, our Tours might not be the best fit. If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Luggage

All baggage and personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the traveller. Each individual is allowed only one suitcase and one carry-on due to limited space in our minivan. Please pack lightly and ensure you are able to manage your own luggage.
